What we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
This Privacy Policy explains what Simple Plumbing Inc (“Simple Plumbing,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use simpleplumbinginc.com, call or text us, or book plumbing service, and how we use and protect it. It also explains the rights California residents have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Effective and last updated October 14, 2026.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book online, call, text, email or fill out a form, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, service address, email address if you add it, a description of the plumbing problem, your scheduling preferences, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you pay us, our payment processor collects your payment details; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site collects basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and, if you arrived from an ad or a search, the campaign or click identifier in the link. We use cookies and similar technologies for this. See “Cookies” below.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from our scheduling and dispatch software, from review platforms when you leave a review, and from public records when needed to perform work (for example a property owner of record).
How we use information
- To schedule, confirm, perform and follow up on plumbing service, including calling, texting or emailing you about your appointment.
- To give you estimates, invoices, receipts and warranty service.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To send service reminders or offers if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
- To run, secure and improve our website and business, including measuring which pages and ads bring customers to us.
- To comply with the law, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the business under contracts that limit how they use your data: our website host, our scheduling and dispatch software, our text messaging provider, our email provider, and payment processors.
- Analytics and advertising platforms such as Google, in the limited form of visit statistics and conversion measurement, so we know which ads and searches bring customers to us. To confirm: confirm whether Google Analytics and Google Ads are in use
- Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Simple Plumbing, our customers or others.
- Business transfers, if the company is sold or merged, in which case your information would transfer with it under this policy.

Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your form progress, to measure visits and, if you arrived from an ad, to measure whether that ad led to a booking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because there is no common standard for them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.
Text messages
If you book online, check the consent box, or text us first, we may text you about your service request: confirmations, arrival updates, follow-ups and receipts. Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Full terms are in our SMS Terms.
How long we keep information
We keep job records, invoices and warranty information for as long as we need them to serve you, honor our guarantee and meet our legal and tax obligations, which is generally several years after the last service. Website visit data is kept in summarized form. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website and password-protected business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
- Access a copy of that information.
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as records we must keep for tax or warranty purposes.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for anything other than providing service.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We will verify your request by matching the details you give us with the information in our records, and we will respond within 45 days. You may also use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that you gave the agent permission.
Notice at collection. The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (name, phone, email, address, IP address), customer records (service history, invoices), commercial information (jobs purchased), internet activity (pages visited), and, if you arrive from an ad, the campaign or click identifier. We use them for the purposes listed above and keep them as described under “How long we keep information.”
Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, such as review platforms or our social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will post a notice on this page.
